Caregivers who support individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia provide patient, attentive care while helping maintain safety, comfort, and routine.
Responsibilities may include:
Providing supervision and safety support
Assisting with daily routines and personal care
Offering reassurance and emotional support
Encouraging familiar activities and engagement
Monitoring changes in behavior or comfort
Communicating with family members when needed
Personal Care Assistants support clients with essential daily living tasks while helping them remain independent.
